Dear Editor
Re “Debate over sexual orientation dividing Christians.” (May 22):

That was quite a spirited exchange of views between Chrstina Blizzard and Michael Coren. It was like listening to two ancient clerics debating how many liberal-Christians could dance on the head of a conservative-Christian pin. Or, better still, two kids debating the pros and cons of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. Coren and Blizzard read the same book and came away with different opinions. nothing new there; that’s why we have so many Christian sects. Besides, if religious beliefs could be proved to be true, you wouldn’t need faith, and without faith, there is no religion. Incidentally, isn’t it strange that, so far as we know, Jesus was never married. As for God having a wife. Naw, better not go there.
