Poking the Dragon
Dear Editor:
When the sleeping dragon awakes,” Napoleon said, referring to china ” it
will shake the world. Well, we didn’t have sense enough to let the sleeping
dragon lie, we had to keep poking it until it awoke with a roar heard
round the world. Now we have to learn how to live with a well rested,
hungry dragon, hell-bent on becoming a super power and ready to devour
anything that stands in its way.
