Ode to Newfoundland

from Hebron’s depth,
Up through the Arctic ice..
And I hear the cash,
the cash, billions will be flowing –
So they’re building new parks
of Paradise on Horse Cove Beach.
Still, they’re coming back,
Our sons and daughters
With new-found skills ..
To ply the Ocean’s floor.

And we’re proud of you..
