SPELLBOUND IN ONTARIO

Around the cold-bare fields-of-fall

the sumac is aflame in the waning
sun as the stately maples shower their
red and gold on the bracing breeze.

And high in the sky, the southbound
geese

honk farewell as they fly away to
warmer climes

With the green/days gone

and the white/days looming
Mother Nature puts on her
annual spellbinding show

as she splashes her many-

splendored colors
all over Ontario
