Dear Editor
Re “YEAR of the ASSASSIN.” (Dec 30):

Sad to say, but every year is the year of assassins. From Cain and Abel to Pol Pot, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, from Toronto’s thugs to Pakistan’s fanatics, the cry is still the same: Kill, kill, kill! The verdict is in: We are savages still.
