Support our troops and the mission in Afghanistan
Dear Editor:
Many of our Canadian soldiers choose to volunteer for the mission in Afghanistan, so that they can make a difference. Some have given their lives trying to make a difference in the world. To bring these troops home before the job is done is an insult to all of those who wear the Canadian uniform, especially to those who have given their lives.
Then there are those politicians who no longer want our people to be in a combat zone.This is both sad and disgraceful. Again, this shows complete lack of respect to those who have served and to those who have given their lives.
Question for thought……….Have Jack Layton or Stephane Dion ever served in the military or a combat zone?……probably not, as it shows.
This is one Canadian who strongly stands up, supports our troops and the mission in Afghanistan.
