“What’s in the works for SENIORS vis-à-vis in the McGuinty Government?”
The other day, a senior got a prescription for an Anti-Biotic drug and found out that is was no longer covered under the ONTARIO DRUG PLAN (Trillium Plan). It had been quietly taken off coverage by the McGuinty Liberal Government and was a surprise. But that was not really a surprise at all, if one remembers that on re-election Dalton McGuinty said that there was to be no taxes, and immediately put a health premium on SENIORS, saying that it was not a TAX. Later on, he publicly admitted that it was a TAX.
So, the point is why are SENIORS in ONTARIO voting LIBERAL, when they know that the LIBERALS do not hesitate to lie, when it suits them. Don’t forget that Dalton McGuinty gave himself and other MPPs a 25% pay raise. Where do you think that money came from, if not from the Health Tax that he gouged out of your meager pensions? It’s time for SENIORS to take a stand, and vote en bloc to oust this lying LIBERAL government in the next election.
Remember, we SENIORS have voting power, so lets get together and make it count. Otherwise we are at the mercy of corrupt politicians, who do not give a damn what we say, because they have had it so easy that they now think of the electorate as being STUPID. So, its time to make every SENIORS vote count in the next Ontario election, and give the Liberals the bums rush for what they have done to SENIORS in ONTARIO.
