The Manley Report on Afghanistan
Dear Editor:
So Jack Layton feels that the Manley report is out of touch.
“First, it is Jack Layton that is out of touch with the mission in Afghanistan”.
Three questions that I would like to ask regarding Jack Layton?
Has Layton ever served in the Canadian military?
Has Layton ever served in combat?
Has Layton been to Afghanistan to see what goes on and the good that our troops are doing?
If the answer is no to all of these questions, than what gives Layton the right to comment on military matters.
As far as I know the only military connection that Layton has, is he is a member of the Legion..
Our troops need to stay in Afghanistan until the job is done.NATO needs to step up to the plate more than what it has.
As a proud Canadian, I’m proud of our troops and the job that they are doing in Afghanistan I strongly support our troops and the mission.
