Is the Szabo chaired ethics committee still relevant?

Mr. DelMastro,
Good on you to get Mike Duffy involved in the alleged CBC/Liberal collusion story.
Hopefully Jean LaPierre the journalist who blew the whistle while on Duffy’s show will also be called.
Was the chairman Szabo apprised of the line of ( irrelevant to the Schreiber / Mulroney issue) questions by Pablo Rodriguez in advance?
If I, a lowly observer sitting in my living room can sense obvious irrelevant questions in a parliamentary committee, that have no bearing, relevance or are germane to the Schreiber / Mulroney affair,
and turn out to be CBC journalists planted questions, that parliamentary ethics committee then is surely compromised by the collusion with that news disseminator and has lost its relevancy and is in my view, in disrepute.
Hacks like Greg Weston, Duffy et al dismiss it out of hand as Harper’s Conservative grandstanding , but are they not willfully blind to an unsavory bit of Liberal politics as well?
The bias of MSM is palpable in this case.
