Re “Nobody cares.” (letter, Feb 5):
The reason Christine Nunziata kept being re-elected was that her constituents weren’t aware of her lavish lifestyle on their dime. Now that the Sun has exposed her malfeasance, you can bet that she won’t be elected next time. Democracy may be, as Winston Churchill noted, the worst form of government except for all the others, but without a free press it would be much worse than it is.
