Rae Days! Rae Days! Good old NDP days
with promises, promises of pie in the sky
and how the proles would be rich in the sweet-
bye-and-bye.
They said be of good cheer, the good times are
near,
soon life will be all skittles-and-beer.
Then, all of a sudden things went awry,
for the pie-in-the-sky you first had to die.
Now Rae is back, different band, same old tune,
prepare to be promised the stars and the moon,
but next time around, if you fall for this crap
just look in the mirror to see a prize sap.
