Nato helping out in Afghanistan
Dear Editor,
I think that it is sad when there are countries like Spain, Germany and Italy who will not send any of their troops into the combat zone of Afghanistan.They should be ashamed.Looking back on history, Italy, Spain and Germany were part of Hitlers Third Reich.After these countries were defeated during the Second World War, the Allies helped re-build these countries.I guess this is their way of saying thanks.I’m not blaming the soldiers of those countries, but their gutless governments.As a Canadian, I’m proud of our troops and our allies for the job that they are doing over there.Sadly I can’t say the same about Spain, Germany and Italy.
