Ontario Government–Driving people off their land
Dear Editor:
Re: Letter campaign supporting Mackie’s Archery in Beamsville.
If the Barons of the NEC think they are here to stay; recognize the people
were here first and will not be driven off their land. Citizens entered
into a contract when paying taxes. It works both ways. Our reps also
promised a contract to uphold what’s right. It’s time they started showing
us their abilities in leadership by taking the front line approach by
marching to the tune of their livelihoods’ by protecting ours. If their not
up for the challenge that can easily be remedied. This letter simply
enforces that principle.
Last Week, MNR enforcement officers visited Bob looking to inspect his land.
Bob refused. They left. They’ll be back. Bob, and his family needs us.
Who’s next?
A letter campaign has begun on behalf of Bob Mackie’s Archery. Attached is
a copy of the community support letter being sent to all Lincoln councilors
and reps in the area. President Jack MacLaren; “The Ontario Landowners
Association is commencing an escalating series of actions in support of Bob
Mackie.”
Bob; I support you and your efforts in these trying times. Your values are
inspirational.
Yours Truly,
John O’Neill
Member of the NLA (Niagara Landowners Assoc.) Beamsville/Lincoln, Ontario.
