Bush slammed for ‘politics of fear’
Re “Bush slammed for ‘politics of fear’” ( May 16).
President Bush sure picked the wrong place to equate talking to Hamas terrorists with Nazi Appeasement. It was one pf Israel’s top soldiers, General Moshe Dyan, who said: “If you want peace, you don’t talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies.” And someone should whisper these wise words of John F. Kennedy in Bush’s ear: “Let us never negotiate out of fear. But, let us never fear to negotiate.”
Over to you, George.
