Dear Editor,
Now is the time to thank our troops, and bring them home.
We sent them to Afghanistan to depose the Taliban government that had supported terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Our troops and allies succeeded. We asked our troops to secure Kabul, the Afghan capital, for a new democratic government. Again, our troops and allies succeeded. [...]

Dear Editor:
Regarding the Liberals position on Afghanistan, come next election, “I will not be voting Liberal”.
I will be voting Conservative. As for the NDP……NOT A CHANCE IN HELL WILL THEY GET MY VOTE.Jack Layton is completely out of touch. Our troops need to stay in Afghanistan, until the job is finished and the Taliban are defeated.

Re PMO hiding truth, Dion alleges.” (Jan. 26):
Canada’s military mission in Afghanistan grows more controversial with each passing day. Are we going to become so used to our soldiers coming home in body-bags that it’s only reported in small print? There are so many different reasons given for Canada being part of [...]

Dear Editor:
Every Canadian should join B’nai Brith Canada and the Canadian Jewish Congress in thanking our government for the courage to once again take a principled stand in refusing to attend the farcical Durban II UN racism conference in South Africa in 2009. The 2001 conference did little more than provide a platform for the [...]

Dear Editor:

Dear Editor:
I see that Stephane Dion is again making stupid comments after returning from Afghanistan. It’s plain to see that this man hasn’t got a clue about our military or the mission. He even goes on to make comments about NATO troops going into Pakistan.
Pakistan has made it clear that no foreign troops [...]

Dear Editor:
Many of our Canadian soldiers choose to volunteer for the mission in Afghanistan, so that they can make a difference. Some have given their lives trying to make a difference in the world. To bring these troops home before the job is done is an insult to all of those who wear the Canadian [...]

Dear Editor:
I’m glad to hear from ex- soldiers point of view about serving in Afghanistan. I think that it is very sad and disgraceful that people like Jack Layton do not support our troops or the mission in Afghanistan. Our Canadian troops are there because they want to be there and want to make [...]

Dear Editor:
Re: Why Al Qaeda Didn’t Kill Her And The Pakistani Military Did?
You call her “Mrs. Bhutto” which is blatantly incorrect, as she was not married to anyone named Bhutto. The common phenomena of married women using their maiden names renders the antiquated “Mrs.” inaccurate as well as inexcusably sexist.
Please desist.
