North American Union

There is a difference between stupid and ignorant. The talking heads at FOX News are not stupid. But the three guests on Brit Hume's Tuesday night telecast, who snickered at the "conspiracy nuts" who are concerned about the emergence of a North American Union are either ignorant, or deceitful. Here's the question: is the NAU a fact, or fiction?

On August 20-21, in Montebello, Quebec, secure behind a cordon of fifteen miles maintained by the Canadian Mounted Police, Security Quebec, and reportedly even the U.S. Army, the leaders of America, Mexico, and Canada will meet to further discuss the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) and, no doubt, the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC).

In a month, August 20 and 21, the leaders of the United States, Canada, and Mexico will sit down together in Montebello, Quebec to discuss making the borders between these three nations disappear. They will discuss progress on a vast highway project passing through America to link Mexico with Canada.

To the hardworking American citizens, your country is about to be swept from underneath you. Our sovereignty is unraveling. I say this because of the various agreements to privatize and lease our nation's interstates and highways to foreign companies. And it's happening without Congressional approval or approval of the people. This is happening across the country as well. The Trans Texas Corridor is planned to be under the control of Spain's Cintra Concessions de Infraestructuras de Transporte. And locally in Tennessee, a proposed toll road to be installed near Knoxville caught my attention. I wonder what's to become of that highway project. As it is implemented, will it be sold to foreign companies?

"There is absolutely no U.S. government plan for a NAFTA Superhighway of any sort," says David Bohigian, an assistant secretary of commerce, in reply to a reporter's question. The article also quotes Senator Kit Bonds as saying that the notion of a NAFTA super-highway is based on "unfounded theories," with "no credence."

Brit Hume said on the Fox News Sunday program that it is possible that Republican frontrunner Rudy Giuliani could overcome his convoluted posturing on abortion and secure the Republican presidential nomination in 2008. But Giuliani has some other major problems. These include foreign clients, one of whom is constructing part of the "NAFTA Superhighway" project that has people in Texas and around the nation up in arms.

A tiny but determined band of organizations and individuals are standing up to Goliath and are beginning to see his knees wobble.
Goliath is the globalist-inspired Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) - better known as the North American Union (NAU) and the Trans Texas Corridor (TCC) - also know as the NAFTA Highway.

Rep. Edward Royce, a high-ranking conservative California Republican, said over the weekend that a White House-backed amnesty plan for illegal aliens has provisions which undermine the national sovereignty of the U.S. and help facilitate development of a North American Union, much like the European Union that supersedes the sovereignty of 27 European countries.

The parade of tractor-trailer trucks now heading toward the nation's capitol, hopes to bring D.C. traffic to a standstill, April 23-24. The protest is against the recent announcement that Mexican trucks will be allowed to deliver goods directly from Mexican ports to customers anywhere in the United States.

If you believe there should be no borders marking a specific entity called the United States of America, then a North American Union will not concern you. If you believe nationalism, meaning love and pride of country, is a bad thing, then a North American Union will not concern you. If you believe government control of the market, of health care, and of energy policy is a positive force, then a North American Union will not concern you. If you believe anyone should be allowed to enter our nation, even illegally, obtain work, taxpayer-paid social programs, and owe no allegiance to the U.S., then a North American Union will not concern you.

Sources close to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper tell Canada Free Press that he is firmly against Canada being part of the North American Union (NAU).
Canadian sovereignty, they say, is everything in the opinion of the Canadian prime minister.
As the proverbial `i's' and `'t's are being dotted and crossed in a binding document that forces Canada, the United States and Mexico into one massive borderless entity, pockets of patriots are popping up in the U.S. to fight such a union.

If you have not read the news in a few months, you may be unaware: there are plans to create a North American Union, whereby Mexico, the United States and Canada will eventually become a single country, with a single currency and a single superhighway system.

Congress, Citizen-Activists Offer Best Hope to Defeat European Union-Style Government for North America
Supporters of U.S. borders and sovereignty urge more Americans to join Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.), Virgil Goode (R-Va.), Ron Paul (R-Texas) and Walter Jones (R-N.C.) in fighting a little-known plan to create a North American Union. The scheme would combine the U.S. with Mexico and Canada into a single political and economic system modeled after the European Union. The merger would erase U.S. borders and sovereignty and allow for the free movement of people, products, and capital between the regions by 2010.

After the Bush administration and short-lived Republican congress cut-n-run on their conservative base by spending like a drunken Kennedy, defending illegal immigration like Howard Dean counting new Latino voters at the border and fighting the war on terror like they need traitor John Murtha's approval, some conservatives are looking to cut-n-run from their not-so-conservative party.

Reaction to reports about a possible North American Union have been robust, at least. Reaction from a few conservative pundits is way beyond robust, nearing the ridiculous. Popular radio talk show host, Michael Medved, describes the reporters of a possible North American Union as bastards and creeps and jug-heads and drunks and reprobates.
Surrendering our Sovereignty

It might be difficult to compete with the remains of Anna Nicole Smith, but the "Security and Prosperity Partnership Ministerial Meeting" in Canada on Friday is a subject worthy of some attention from our major media. It springs from a process, set in motion by President Bush about two years ago, involving what many conservatives see as surrender of U.S. sovereignty to a trilateral entity that could assume the form of a North American Union, much like the European Union that now dictates to the citizens of 27 European states.
