Located steps from the Summerhill Subway, at 1276 Yonge Street, The Abbot on the Hill is the newest ‘neighborhood’ pub. Not unlike its older cousin to the north, The Abbot at 3367 Yonge, where the patrons make it a common place to meet with friends or stop in for a friendly drink. The fine food and atmosphere is always one of good friends and great food.

The Abbot’s menu sports an English style fare with tasty starters with Scotch egg, Cheese & Beer Crock, Spiced Shrimp, dips, pates, with daily soup and mussel specials that are always sure to delight. For light lunches, the salads are a good serving of healthy eating with the Smoked Salmon salad a personal favorite.

Along with daily specials from the kitchen for main entrees, there is a wide selection from truly awesome Fish & Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, burgers, pork, lamb, fish, steak and chicken.

They have a great selection of beers and lagers on tap and fine reasonably priced wine list, that we have personally made it a point to sample our way through.

Never a disappointment, always a warm atmosphere, stop in for a visit--it won’t be your last.

See you there.

A dinner for two with wine, taxes and tip will run about $80.00.
