The Cooks had the pleasure of experiencing Pan Asian cuisine at 'Cravings'. Located in Lawrence Park at 3393 Yonge Street since October 2007, The Cooks noticed how it was always well attended. We just knew it was going to be a great new dining location to check out. We were so glad we did.

Owners Odi and Conrad previously have been involved in the restaurant business. They have taken their experience and knowledge of different menu items and created a unique menu here, with the best of the best. They have combined Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine and have produced a first rate superb menu sure to satisfy any Craving...

With casual elegance, Cravings seats up to 60 patrons. The decor is relaxed and comfortable with seating in the front window section or the more secluded area near the sushi bar where one can witness the talents of skilled chefs.

Cravings offer a varied selection of tapas, including Gyoza, Dim Sum which was complimented with a spicy chili sauce - an excellent combination, soups, and unique sushi dishes. One appetizer, a must try, is their UFO which consists of spicy tuna on fried sweet potato. The flavours presented in this dish were simply wonderful.

For Thai lovers, the Mango Salad is light and refreshing. A generous portion of mango, red pepper, red onion, and carrot in a fish sauce vinaigrette. A great start to any meal.

We were then treated to Thai Red Curry, served with chicken, beef, vegetables or shrimp. We tried the chicken curry and were not disappointed. The Pad Thai was flavourful and a large serving we shared. Thai Basil dish, also available with chicken, beef, eggplant or shrimp was served in a combination of spicy sambal-oelek and oyster sauce.

All the selected dishes were excellent, full flavoured and served with a choice of sticky rice.

In addition, the menu offers entrees of grilled meats, noodles, wok dishes, sushi and vegetarian fare.
