From some increasingly loud and whining corners, a proverbial bite-off-your-nose-to-spite-your-face kind of mentality is pervading the presidential race.
The message sent over the Internet daily by bloggers, commenters and writers of letters to the editor boils down to the über negative conclusion that America is finished because Republican candidates are just as bad, if not worse than the undocumented president working uninterrupted on the Fundamental Transformation of America.
The bearers of this bitter message brook no argument and infiltrate comment sections of news sites, including this one. Easily identified by their ‘my way or highway’ style, they do everything possible to get their message across; send hate mail and even death threats courtesy of IP proxies and submit columns while hiding under pseudonyms and pen names.
